Pretty Shaky String Band and Bath Market Minstrel member, John Suppnick, is offering a new old time string band slow jam for beginners in the Lansing area. We will be playing at about 1/2 the speed that is usually played at the Pretty Shaky String Band on Wednesday nights. This jam will include some of the common, simple tunes by ear, breaking the tunes down a phrase at a time. The rest of the jam will be playing tunes you want to play. This will be a good opportunity to learn and play with others at a beginner tempo. Bring sheet music or tab sheets if that works for you.
